Secondment
ICT has undergone a major transformation since it was founded in 1978. The company spent well over three decades gaining experience and expertise as a secondment company, with a strong focus on programmers. This means that our people spent extended periods working with and at other companies, building up knowledge of the companies and the markets they operated in. This can be seen as a very successful strategy, because building up industry knowledge makes that we have the right people for the job. No longer can secondment be seen as a way of putting as much as possible Professionals at a temporary position at customers. Though it is still the fastest way to temporarily expand customer’s team with highly skilled, trained and experienced professionals, it is all about the right match of our customers request and the skills we have in house. Our Professionals are passionate ‘techies’, who have the required knowledge, gained experience and they are empowered with specific branch knowledge. From Automotive to Manufacturing, Energy or Water & Infrastructure, for various customers in various markets we can deliver the right candidates with the right set of skills.
The advantages of a temporary skillset
Having all kinds of skillsets available at all time in your company simply does not sound cost-effective. The flexibility that secondment offers is of great advantage, you decide when, for how long and ‘who’ you need to solve your temporary problem. You deploy extra Professional skills for periods you really need it, that makes peak times (seasonal demand, special and or new projects) less challenging. For us, it is business as usual.
We are convinced that finding the right person for the task will determine the success or failure of the work, project or job you offer. That is why we invest in training and educating our people with the latest technology, giving them the right experience to help you develop in the best way we can.
Thinking beyond borders…
Outsourcing IT-work is our core business, but in some cases the right skillset cannot be found. Not in our company, not in any company. If we are confronted with such a new kind of customer demand, we make a business case if we feel that the proceedings can be added to our portfolio. A clear and comprehensive job profile, an extended in-house training program are part of our approach. The training program consists of learning the necessary technical skills, focus on personal skills and knowledge of customer specific features.
