The theme at ICT Group this year is, Manufacturing Execution System (MES). We look at the latest developments companies are facing in terms of what choices they need to make. Companies with multiple production sites are increasingly looking for a multi-site MES solution. What does this mean for traditional MES applications and how do you make the right choices in this as a company?
MES in the Cloud
We also present what role the Cloud can play in MES. Will the Cloud replace traditional MES or will it continue to coexist? Many companies are already taking the first steps towards Cloud applications previously solved within MES. However, this has to fit within a company's digital transformation strategy. Is there actually a strategy at all? And what does this mean for management and costs?
