Multi-site MES Governance
Nowadays, manufacturing companies are aware of the need to implement MES in their factories. But for companies with multiple factories or departments (sometimes in different countries) it is undesirable and inefficient to have their own specific MES in each factory. This leads to high, often hidden, costs. It also slows down the continuous improvements that need to be made in the supply chain, such as shorter lead times, greater flexibility and better quality and efficiency. A well-designed, uniform, standardized method of working across all plants is necessary. A uniform MES with standardized KPIs, master data and ERP links reduces overall costs and increases overall flexibility. The path to Smart Manufacturing requires a multi-site MES Governance approach. An approach in which MES templates ensure continuity, predictability and reliability, in which MES projects are in control and common functionality is well maintained.
We are an experienced player in the field of MES systems and the time is right for a mature and integrated approach to this specific issue. Our range contains several “flavours” of MES solutions. We are a consistent element in factory automation. This is essential since long-term processes demand continuity and stability. We have, therefore, a large task force of highly qualified MES engineers with the knowledge you need. This gives us enormous flexibility and capacity. Our staff work in our MES Competence Center. We draw on all these resources to gradually build integrated MES systems for our clients, starting small and increasingly adding features. A consistent, incremental approach that leads to perfect integration.
