‘We face a growing need for exchange of medical data’
We at ICT don’t believe in revolutions but are in favour of evolutions. Think big, start small & deliver quickly that is why we offer you the following basic service solutions:
Improving data (adding elements out of text information from patient files together with the structured data from the existing data sources) and filling up the new Electronic Patient Records in the Belgian hospitals.
Making sure that within the new hospital networks, pushed by the Belgian government, the data from transferred patients can follow the patient from one hospital to the other hospital in the network. This data transfer should be so fine granulated that we can only send over the data linked to the current episode of that patients who has to be transferred to the other specialized hospital. We have the right solution to be implemented.
Every hospital has a Datawarehouse at the level of administrative data. Why not having a Clinical Datawarehouse in place. This should allow the hospitals to gather all clinical data of their patients, improve the quality of this data, and allow all kind of analytics work and research work on top of this data (predictive insights). Improved data means improved services to the patients, means improved reporting to the public authorities, means overall a more efficient way to help patients to get better. We can include the PROM’s (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) information and have a direct view on how well your hospital is working and have a direct view on the quality delivery of your hospital.
May 2019 all software solutions that have an impact on the diagnostic outcome for a patient will need to be certified CE or FDA. We as a software developer have our own certified QMS (Quality Management System) and we are able to help these solution providers to prepare the paperwork and if needed instore this QMS so that they can request for this certification. We have productised this service offering.
Based on its in-house expertise in the area of medical communication standards and data exchange between two or more systems as well as its involvement in healthcare improvement initiatives, Healthcare offers the following Medical Data Exchange services:
After mapping the system environment, advising about the technology to be used and the correct software libraries, we continue developing the architecture.
A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
During this two-day hands-on training, the basic principles of working with Mirth Connect are explained.
This webinar focuses on the DICOM communication standard and the handy open-source DVTk tooling.
