Ernst Jan Stigter, General Manager Microsoft Netherlands
Ernst-Jan Stigter (47) has been working for Microsoft since 1999. He has had a variety of roles, in both the Dutch organization as well as abroad. As a part of the Dutch management team, Ernst-Jan was previously responsible for the enterprise market and Marketing & Operations. In Central and Eastern Europe, Ernst-Jan was General Manager at Microsoft Greece and VP Sales of Marketing & Services. In 2016, he took on the role of General Manager at Microsoft Netherlands.
Ernst-Jan is especially interested in the cultural changes that form the basis of successful organizational transformations. In addition, he is very passionate about the use of new technologies that benefit society and the economy. That is one of the reasons he is active at the association NLdigital, of which he has been Chairman since July 2018. Here, he is committed to turning the Netherlands into an icon of digital success and jointly working on a more durable economic growth and society.
Ernst-Jan has a wife, three daughters and a dog. In his spare time he likes to ski, cycle, play tennis and he takes a particular interest in automobiles.
