This not only improves the service provided to the client, as the products arrive at their destination sooner rather than later, but also improves the efficiency of the logistics chain. After all, the incoming goods are not held in stock, do not need to go through the pick order process, and do not have to be grouped with other products. The end result is a reduction in the number of actions needed to receive, redistribute and dispatch goods, leading to a significant savings in time and money.

Tracking-and-Tracing technology is used to provide updated information on the location of the goods. Each package or container is fi tted with a barcode, which is scanned at each hub and each point of transfer to another trailer. This information is processed wirelessly and stored in ICT’s Smart Dock application. We deliver this application in the form of a complete Softwareas- a-Service (SaaS) system, including a design-build-deployment service. By making use of the Cloud, it’s possible to ensure that an application can immediately go ‘live’, providing a quick and transparent overview of the status of a transport.
ICT has years of experience in developing, building and implementing cross-docking software. In doing so, we customize off-the-shelf components to meet the wishes of individual clients. Our solutions are always tailored to the specific needs of the client, and we deliver these solutions quickly and efficiently. In addition to developing and implementing the necessary software, ICT can also provide additional services such as support, hosting and project management as well as hardware services when necessary. These include a mobile computer, a wireless network and the implementation and installation of the hardware components needed.
