ICT and climate policy

Climate policy will be a key element in the business operations of ICT Automatisering (ICT) within the framework of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This is only logical, as sustainable business practices - including climate policy and CO2 reduction - are the future. Our Code of Conduct contains the following section on sustainability:

“Corporate social responsibility is a self-evident element of the organization. ICT aims to operate fairly and transparently and to shoulder its responsibility towards shareholders, employees, its surroundings and the environment.”

It's good for the natural environment
The reservoir of natural resources is being depleted and ecosystems are becoming increasingly unbalanced. If we continue in this fashion, our children and their children will be left with a world that is practically uninhabitable. By working together with companies which, like ICT, aim to adopt a policy that also focuses on increased sustainability, it is possible to achieve results.
 
Cost reduction
Sustainable entrepreneurship also saves an enormous amount of energy, and this is also evident in the costs. Examples include the use of low-energy light bulbs, insulation, greater awareness in using heating and cooling devices, and the use of green energy.

Improving one's competitive position
A CO2 awareness certificate for companies that do business in a sustainable fashion gives them a competitive edge when it comes to tenders. Contributes to a positive company image Our green logo acquires an extra layer of meaning as a result of our efforts, as a 'green computerization firm', to do business more sustainably.
